assalam u alaikum,
my name is jasir shahbaz and i attended sop camp in 2011 session 1. It is undoubtedly an unforgetable experience for all the campers. Its all but impossible to explian the Experience in words and one have to be there to understand.
I dedicate this poem to all the seeds, counsellors and facilitaors of SEEDS OF PEACE. I recited this poem on the talent show, and tried to put the camp experience in few words.

firstly on the stunning beauty of the camp
i love the beauty around me
it's as beutiful as can be
i feel so happy and cheerful when i see it
a magnificient sight to see
about the activities at camp
away from home
i feel so alone
come to a place
with so much space
in morning cocounselors say get up
campers say please don't disturb
dancing in small hall is fun
& morning line up rising sun
pancakes,captain crunch &peanut butter
always on fire is bread tooster
then in morning special activities
where u don't get your first choices
play frisbee or american football
but we all love basketball (yeah roan)
craving to be in club 75
on high ropes an intense high five
rush to phone calls in free time
who cares to come back on time
pasta,goose goose & fish
in dinner will be brownies i wish
in the rest hour stay in your bunk
no food beware of chipmunk
playing jamin in music shack
creating new things in art shack
evening activities in big hall
but i miss the city mall
while playing ga ga don't hit the ball
in gc area beware of troll
choclates on bunk night
oh my GOD so early ligths out
NOW
no more i feel alone
no more sickness for my home
now camp is my field
and camp is my home
after spending three exhilirating weeks, one night i saw a dream..............
i have a dream of a world
with no lakes of blood
we will have no identities
other than we believe in humanities
children will nurture their dreams
no violence & no screams
we'll stop yelling at our enemies
we'll join hands to make new families
we can get whatever we want
we'll never think that we can't
living in a utopia
where peace is not a faresight dream
